About Aaliyah

Hi! I'm Aaliyah! A warm, intuitive, and highly dependable nanny based in NYC, currently studying Psychology part time through the BMCC-NYU pathway with a focus on child development and social intervention. I'm BLS certified and trained in newborn care, with experience supporting children from newborn through school age, including autism, ADHD, anxiety, and behavioral needs. I specialize in creating structured, nurturing, and engaging environments through routines, language rich interaction, sensory play, and developmentally appropriate activities. I'm proactive, organized, and take pride in supporting both children and the household in a calm, thoughtful way. My approach is emotionally attuned and trauma informed. I prioritize helping children feel safe, confident, and understood. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, baking, fitness, coding/web design, and creative projects. Childcare is my passion and aligns with my goal of becoming a child and adolescent psychologist/psychiatrist.
