About Aarika

Hi! I'm Aarika . I'm warm, nurturing, personable, and joyful. I have experience caring for children from newborns through teens and older adults. When my Dad was diagnosed with cancer, he was given 6 months to live but lived nearly a year and a half. I moved him into my home and became his full-time caregiver - his advocate and companion, helping him navigate and feel cared for. I served as a youth leader for 7 yrs and on my for 5 yrs. I currently serve in Pinehurst. After 15 yrs in corporate America, I'm looking for more meaningful work where I can use my professional skills while making a positive difference in someone's life. With kids, I enjoy reading, crafts, outdoor activities, games, and imaginative play. With seniors, I love conversation, companionship, errands, and appointments. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, fishing, cooking, my ducks, and spending time with family. I want those I care for to feel safe, seen, and valued!
