About Abbey

Hello, I'm Abbey! I have 7 plus years experience working with kids. I worked at a summer camp for 7 years, I was responsible for leading games, crafts, and all activities for campers. I was in charge of the general safety of all 70 campers age 5-12. I have 2 years experience as a camp manager, where I was in charge of all campers and staff, I had to take care of any disciplinary issues, and schedule and come up with all camp activities. I volunteered every weekend in the kids care center for 3 years, working with the 4-5-year-old for 2 hours every week. I also have experience working as a nanny for 3 different families, where I was responsible for picking up the children from school, preparing snacks and dinner, taking them to their activities, and out on small field trips. I love art, cooking, getting outdoors, reading and I love share those passions with the kids I'm working with when I can!
