About Abbey

I have been working as a Montessori teacher for preschool age kids for almost 20 years, and I value hands-on learning. Some of my favorite parts of teaching are nature, art, and language arts. I like working with young kids because I love creating opportunities for them to learn and making connections with them! My skills include helping to foster independence, patience, and positive reinforcement/redirection. I'd describe my personality as gentle, hardworking, supportive, and laid back. In my spare time, I like to bake, read, and spend time with my husband, four kids, and pets. I'm looking for a job that gives me a chance to use my love of teaching and working with kids without the full time hours of a teaching job.
