About Abby

Hi, I'm Abby (she/her), and I'd love to tell you a little about myself. I was born and grew up in the Greater Washington, DC Area, and moved to Colorado in the summer of 2013. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I've studied psychology, early childhood education, and human growth & development to varying degrees. I am also well versed in age appropriate activities, especially artistic ones, and know that learning can be messy and hard, but that's when it's the best. I have about 25 years of childcare experience. From being a Mother's Helper (starting around 10 or 11) to being the go-to neighborhood babysitter, working in daycare and summer camp, to nannying and tutoring, and even volunteering in a primary school in Ghana. I absolutely adore kids and they seem to really like me too. I love how they think and problem solve and how they see the world with wonder and joy. Plus, playing raccoon pirate fairies or dung beetles (the kid LOVED bugs) is just fun! Fully Vaccinated
