About Abby

I have been a teacher for 5 years with 2 years of experience in second grade and 3 years of experience in kindergarten! I could not imagine doing anything else with my career. I'd describe my personality as empathic, patient and genuine. I like working with kids because they are the best of the world. They see the world differently than adults and it's beautiful to see the world through their eyes! I'm looking for a job that I can use my teaching/childcare experience for a summer job. As a teacher with summers off, the opportunity for an extra income would be beneficial. I started working with kids when I was high school. This is when I realized I wanted to become a teacher so I began babysitting and then volunteering in schools. In my spare time, I like to work out, spend time on the lake, and read. One thing you should know about me is I will treat your child as if they are my own! This means I will make sure their needs are met and their safety is my number one priority.
