Hi! I've been tutoring for about a year now. I am a licensed 1-6 teacher in Massachusetts and pre k-8 special education teacher. I have been teaching for 3 years now (2 in 6th grade and 1 in 5th). I know MA standards like the back of my hand and know what your child needs to know and how to get them there. I am all about building from basic concepts and taking learning at the students pace. I work closely with many special education students therefore I am very good at modifying assignments and lessons to accommodate any needs. I love teaching and watching children's growth as it motivates me to keep going! I am looking for a 1-2x a week tutoring in the summer to maintain your students learning from the previous year and prepare them for the following school year. I prefer to work with students aged 9-14 or grades 3-8.
