About Abigail

Hi, I'm Abigail! I offer something different: creative childcare. I arrive with art supplies and projects planned just for your child - tailored to their age, interests, and skill level - so sitting time becomes studio time. I studied fine art at FIT, and my professional background is in commercial art galleries. I've worked nearly every role in the gallery world and still consult on sales for a gallery in Tribeca. I'm also a Grumbacher certified art instructor with experience teaching at an art summer camp, and nothing makes me happier than helping kids discover what they can create. For older kids and teens, I can go beyond fun projects to help them build portfolios for art programs, specialized high schools, or college applications. I bring 10 years of casual babysitting and pet sitting experience, plus current CPR/First Aid certification. Whether it's watercolors or sketching, your child gets undivided attention and finished projects to show for it. Pets welcome too!
