About Abigail

Hello, my name is Abby! I am an experienced caretaker who has worked in an assisted living facility as well as with older relatives. I have experience with dementia care, and I love to provide companionship! My family loves to joke that I am already a little old lady myself, so it's safe to say that I really enjoy older company! I believe in providing respectful companionship, and maintaining as much autonomy as possible. I understand the frustrations that come with a loss of independence due to aging, and I always make an effort to be helpful, but with this in mind. I am happy to meal prep, help with housework, or anything else your loved one may need, and I'm a pretty decent cook if I do say so myself! I am a non-smoker, comfortable with pets, have my own transportation, and I have a bachelor's degree in biochemistry. I was a medical technician for a brief period, so I am comfortable distributing medication as needed. I hope to connect with you soon!
