About Abigail

I started working with children during high school when I volunteered with children with special needs. I then went on to work in the Christ Church of Oak Brook Daycare as well as nannying for a wonderful family for a year, as well as short-term babysitting for multiple families. Over these 5 years working with kids ages 3 months to 18 years, I discovered the joy children bring into this world and my life. I also cared for my grandmother who had Alzheimer's for 2 years and helped hire additional caregivers during this time. Through this process, I learned the value of quality care, and know it's a privilege to care for your loved ones as my own. I am a student at the University of Illinois majoring in Psychology and Nutrition and am available for weekend babysitting in the Champaign area. I love pets, fun crafts and activities, and most of all seeing the shining smile of a happy kid. I look forward to meeting you and your family! Abby
