About Abigal

I have over eight years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, beginning my career shortly after graduating from high school in 2018. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing facilities, long-term care, home health, hospice, and my current position at Lynchburg General Hospital. I have extensive experience caring for individuals with dementia, providing compassionate end-of-life hospice care, and assisting patients with their daily living needs while preserving their dignity and independence. I currently work weekends on the cardiac unit at Lynchburg General Hospital, where I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, high-quality patient care. I am passionate about helping others and take pride in treating every patient with kindness, respect, and compassion. Making a positive difference in someone's day, whether through hands-on care or emotional support, is what motivates me and makes this career so rewarding.
