About Adaobi

My name is Adaobi and I recently graduated with my Master's in Public Health from the University of Columbia, MO. I currently work with Support Services as a House Manager for one of their homes. Prior to becoming a manager, I worked as a Direct Support Professional working weekend overnight shifts. In the position, I had two clients in my care but also rotated to other houses trying to garner as much experience with different individuals and their different disabilities. I worked in this position for only two months and was promoted to the position of House Manager - my current position. As House Manager, I have taken care of one ISL with three residents. This job gives me the opportunity to interact with both verbal and non-verbal clients, manage their resources, manage their healthcare, provide transportation and help with community integration. Prior to taking this position, I worked as both a graduate research and teaching assistant at the University of Missouri
