I have an 8-year-old son as well.

Aerianna applied for a job that we posted to care.com. After exchanging several messages, Aerianna agreed to meet us for an interview. She agreed to a date and time for the interview. She confirmed this information via the messaging option, so we know that there was not any confusion on when we expected her to arrive for the interview. Unfortunately, Aerianna did not show up. We understand if something unexpected came up or if Aerianna maybe changed her mind about the position/interview. However, I feel strongly that she should have contacted us to let us know instead of leaving us waiting only to find that we wasted our time. It's really unfortunate but because of this experience, I would strongly caution anyone wanting to hire her for a babysitting position as I would question her reliability and if she would actually show up or follow through with her commitments.
