About Agate

Hello! I am new to the Flagstaff area. I am seeking work as a childcare provider because it brings me joy and purpose! I have been working with kids and newborns for over 10 years in varying capacities, including nannying, child case management and advocacy, and outdoor education. My focus as a caregiver is to offer a nurturing, attuned presence that prioritizes safety, creativity, and play. I love getting kids of any age involved in outdoor adventures, whether that be planting flowers in the back yard or taking big day hikes. I am a birth and post-partum doula, herbalist, yoga teacher, Nurturing Parent and Circle of Security facilitator, and have a Bachelor's of Psychology. I deeply enjoy supporting little ones through their beginnings of life and am flexible to the needs/preferences of any family system. I am a Wilderness First Responder and have my certification in Infant First Aid. I am a great nanny for first time parents with a new born!
