I've spent two decades in classrooms and school leadership, studying how kids actually develop emotionally, behaviorally, academically. So when I'm with your child, I'm not just filling time. I'm reading the moment: is this a connection opportunity, a teaching moment, or a time to just let them play? I've cared for newborns through teens, and I shift my approach completely depending on who's in front of me. What that looks like day to day: structured but joyful routines, real academic support (not just homework supervision), emotional coaching when big feelings show up, and the everyday stuff: school pick-ups, meals, tidying, handled without you having to ask twice.
