I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development, and I have over 4 years of experience as a childcare provider. Being raised in a large family, I gained early hands-on experience taking care of younger family members. As an adult, I became involved in nonprofit work centered around child development, which solidified my desire to have a career in childcare. I'm patient, calm, and creative, and I excel at matching children's energy levels, whether they're playful and energetic or quiet and reserved. I believe in incorporating creativity and excitement along with safety and structure. I communicate with parents about their child's day and any issues that arise through written daily reports and verbal communication at pickup, and I follow their preferred communication method. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules, and I enjoy playing various games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and puzzles.
