About Akiya

hello! My name is Akiya (pronounced uh-kai-yuh), but I prefer to be called Kai and I have 4. 5 years of experience in caring for children ages 6 weeks-5 years old! I am truly dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for your little ones. my experience includes babysitting, daycare assistance, and working with children in educational settings. Currently, I am committed to an early learning center and I am an upcoming sophomore in college full time to get a degree in early childhood education. I decided to care for children on the weekends being as though my other commitment is only open mon-fri. with that being said, I am skilled in creating engaging activities, helping with homework, and managing daily routines! fun fact: I am the oldest of four! I am also certified in a lot of things, including CPR/first aid to ensure your child's safety which is always a top priority for me. I look forward to meeting your family and providing the best care for your children!
