I strongly recommend my colleague, Akua, to your great organization. I have had the pleasure of working alongside Akua from 2007 to 2010 as the co-owner of an Assisted Living Facility, where she has been entrusted with a great deal of responsibility, including the welfare and care of our respectful senior citizens and other administrative roles in payroll and management. I have had the opportunity to observe Akua's professional skills as well as interpersonal style. She is consistently pleasant, and takes on all assignments with enthusiasm and dedication. Her caring attitude, hard work, warm approach, cultural competence, emotional intelligence and above all her discipline knowledge set her apart from most of her peers. Regardless of deadlines or other pressure, Akua always delivers. Her superior organizational skills make her the immaculate multi-tasker. One may ask, why is Akua pursuing a healthcare career, with her education background in International Relations? Well, this is the question most of her peers and subordinates posed when Akua announced of her decision to further her education in healthcare (CNA). Unequivocally, I can say that Akua has a warm and caring personality, which is felt immediately she enters a room, and I believe that her decision of career change steamed from her being raised by her grandparents since her infancy.
