About Alana

Hi! I'm Alana, an early childhood educator with over 15 years of experience caring for children from infancy through early elementary ages. I specialize in providing calm, nurturing, development-focused care for infants and toddlers. My background includes many years working in preschool and in-home childcare settings, as well as long-term nanny experience supporting families through different stages of childhood development. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education from Bellevue College and am CPR and First Aid certified. My approach focuses on helping young children feel safe, curious, and confident through hands-on play, outdoor exploration, music, reading, sensory activities, and consistent routines. I believe children learn best through movement, nature, and meaningful connection. Families often appreciate the attentive, individualized care I provide, along with opportunities for gentle social interaction, creativity, and age-appropriate learning throughout the day.
