Hello! My name is Todd. I spent 6 years caring for my mother with Dementia. I handled things like take her to doctor's appointments, medication management, prepared meals, companion care, fed her as she progressed, handled her affairs, and dressed her. I also am a mental health speaker and advocate I own my own production company but most of my work is done through email. This is a slow period for me so I want to bring in some extra money by doing something I know how to do and am comfortable doing. When there is down time with the client I will respond to emails. I'd describe my personality as empathetic, warm, and fun. I like caring for seniors because I have experience with my mother and I like to gain the wisdom from elders. I'm looking for a job that is within my capabilities and has families that are nice to work with. I started caring for seniors when my mom was diagnosed with Dementia. One thing you should know about me is I'm a Christian.

I witnessed Alan do an exemplary job caring for his mother with dementia. Honestly, I was most impressed that he was a son doing what most daughters would do. He was patient and proactive. At each progressive stage of his mother’s condition, he adjusted to her needs. He was out in front of her disease. He did things like at the beginning of her diagnosis he threw her a surprise birthday party, to the last days of him visiting her everyday at the long term care facility. I can’t imagine a more attentive son. He was her only child and she trusted him with her care and he exceeded expectations.
