About Alanna
For all of my 25 years, I have been surrounded by animals of all sorts and sizes. My parents are animal lovers, and so from the time I was small I've cared for cats, dogs, horses, birds, turtles, and a variety of other small pets. I took horse-back riding lessons for years and worked as a stable-hand. I am drawn to animals and enjoy working with them. Though my college degree is in theology/philosophy, and I work as an editor and musician, I find time spent with animals to be rewarding and meaningful.
