I'm Alanna, a 31-year-old Ferndale resident with a love for kids and a passion for nurturing their growth. For the last year and a half, I've had the privilege of being a nanny to my former coworker's son, witnessing his development firsthand and creating a bond like no other! My love for kids goes way back. Growing up, I spent countless hours caring for my cousins, including 6 summers of watching one of them. Recently, I've gained experience caring for twin babies, so I have experience with that as well. Having worked as an executive chef for a multi-million-dollar hospitality business, I'm now ready to pursue a deeper passion with childcare. This experience gives a unique perspective to the care I'm able to provide as I can handle meal planning, prep, and even private chef duties, taking a weight off your shoulders. Alanna cared for our Son every Summer from when he was 3 years old until he was in middle school. In addition to our son, she cared for his cousins and our friends children and everyone raved about Alanna! She was timely, fun but kept order and always followed direction. We trusted her to take them to appointments, the pool, camps and anywhere we’d take the kids. She is passionate about children and genuinely cares and the kids always respected her and minded her well. She saved us during a very busy time in our lives and careers and we can’t thank her enough. We would recommend her to any family with babies up to teens.
