About Alanna

I'd describe my personality as kind, calm, and knowledge seeking. I like working with kids because it's rewarding to see little minds at work when they learn and play. Every child has the power to make a difference in the world and pouring into them in a positive way is so critical. I started working with kids when I became a caregiver for my family. And then became a mother myself and so child development and education means a lot to me. I spend my free time with my daughters, finding new places to explore or grab some food. I work on self care, read, or listen to podcasts. I take courses to brush up on skills for self enrichment. And I love taking pictures of pretty things, places and people. One thing you should know about me is I'm Latina, but I'm pretty culturally aware and love to learn about different countries and cultures. My skills include active communication, awareness of social emotional development, having safety first mentality and being resourceful.
