About Alecsa

I'm looking for a job that values open communication, mutual respect, and supportive environments. I flourish with routine, but can be extremely flexible with the right communication. I started working with kids when I was in high school, coaching middle school girls in basketball and volleyball. After graduating high school, I worked as a camp counselor with children with special needs. During my time at college, I mentored first grade children through a program called Kids In Nutrition -- a community based organization that taught children healthy eating as a way to combat diabetes and heart disease. I also volunteered with Curie-osity, a STEM campus-based organization that mentored and taught young girls about women in STEM. Since graduating, I have been working in clinical research, specifically dermatology where I had several young patients ranging from 4-17 years old! I like to rock climb, go on adventures around San Francisco, play board games/puzzles, and listen to music.
