About Alejandrina

It is our pleasure to wholeheartedly recommend Alejandrina (Alex), who cared for our children from April 2022 through December 2025. Alex first joined our family in April 2022 as part of a nanny share arrangement for our son who was 6mo old at the time and another 4mo old boy. From April 2022 through August 2024, she provided exceptional care, helping both children grow, learn, and thrive during their infancy and toddler years. In August 2024, when our daughter was an infant, we were fortunate to continue working with her in a second nanny share arrangement that included our daughter and her two younger infant cousins. Watching Alex seamlessly care for three babies while thoughtfully adapting to each child’s unique needs and personality further reinforced what an exceptional caregiver she is. One of her greatest strengths is Alex’s ability to tailor her approach to each child. She takes the time to understand their individual temperaments, developmental stages, interests, and needs, creating an environment where every child' s needs are well met and they are adequately supported and encouraged. A perfect example of this was with our son, who was absolutely obsessed with Disney’s Cars. Alex fully embraced it. She took the time to learn the names of all the characters and would spend hours lining up cars, racing them, and engaging with our son in imaginative play. She understood that these moments were meaningful to him and used them to build connection, confidence, and joy. Alex brought the same individualized attention to our daughter. While caring for her younger cousins in the nanny share, she found thoughtful ways to help our daughter feel included and important. She would encourage her to assist with age-appropriate caregiving tasks such as helping with bottles, “changing diapers,” and teaching the babies how to play with toys. At the same time, Alex recognized our daughter’s love of coloring, crafts, and creative activities, often carving out special one-on-one time for art projects while the babies napped. Alex’s background in preschool education is evident in the intentionality she brings to each day. She thoughtfully incorporates age-appropriate learning opportunities, including Montessori-inspired methods, fostering independence, curiosity, and confidence. Beyond caring for the children entrusted to her, Alex has an incredible talent for building community. She organized regular library visits and park meetups with other caregivers and children, creating valuable opportunities for socialization and friendship. She also helped coordinate holiday celebrations, birthday gatherings, and other special events that brought these caretakers and children together and enriched the children’s experiences. She consistently created a joyful environment for the children. Whether it was spontaneous dance parties in the kitchen, singing songs throughout the day, bringing special treats to celebrate milestones, or surprising the children with thoughtful gifts for birthdays and holidays, she brought genuine warmth and enthusiasm to her work. Our children adore Alex, and it is easy to see why. Equally important, Alex is warm, friendly, approachable, collaborative, and dependable. She consistently approached her role with a “we’re in this together” mindset, making her a true partner in raising our children. She communicated openly, worked collaboratively with parents, and provided the kind of reliability and consistency every family hopes to find in a caregiver. Although we no longer require full-time childcare due to our children starting school, we continue to reach out to her whenever we need additional childcare support. Alex remains someone we trust completely and value immensely. We cannot recommend her highly enough. She is especially well-suited for nanny shares involving infants and toddlers, as she has a remarkable ability to balance the needs of multiple young children while ensuring each receives individualized attention and care.
