About Alexa

I am a positive, fun and reliant nanny with a variety of experience! I have years of experience working as a camp counselor with children ages 4-13, where we provide the children with activities ranging from crafts to sports. I have worked full-time as a teaching assistant at the Italian Home for Children School in Jamaica Plain. Through this work I was able to become trained in therapeutic crisis intervention and work directly with children of different backgrounds who had a variety of social or cognitive impairments. I also have experience in babysitting, house maintenance as well as volunteer experience for Ellis Early Education Center in Boston. I graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in psychology and behavioral neuroscience, while also being a captain of the school's Division 1 field hockey team. I worked as a special education aide at Middle School, and I am currently enrolled at Villanova University earning my masters in school counseling.
