About Alexa

Hello! I'm a childcare provider with over 10yrs of experience, from newborns & premature infants to school-aged children. I have a bachelor's degree in Deaf Studies with a minor in Child & Adolescent Development, as well as a master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I've had the privilege of supporting families through some really special seasons, including newborn care, postpartum support, & caring for twins. I understand that welcoming someone into your home to care for your baby is a big deal, & I don't take that trust lightly. My approach to childcare is nurturing, intentional, & responsive. I am inentional in getting to know baby's unique personality, following their cues, & creating a calm, loving environment where they feel safe & supported. I'm a big believer that even the smallest everyday moments, from talking & singing to reading books and exploring the world around us, are opportunities for connection & development. I'm always happy to help out where needed!
