About Alexa

Hi I'm Lex! I have been a youth worker for 15 years because I want every kid to have safe and supportive adults in their life. I am creative, enthusiastic, and patient, and love art-based activities, playing sports (especially soccer), and spending time outside. Grounded in social emotional learning and restorative practices, I believe kids do best with structure, clear limits, and support to do better next time when they make mistakes. I am a problem-solver, not a punisher, and want to be part of your family's team. I am comfortable caring for up to 3 children of all ages, and can help with cooking, cleaning, and pets. I bike or use public transportation, but have a clean driving record should a family car be available for grocery runs, errands, etc. I look forward to meeting your family and helping you feel happy, healthy, and thriving.
