About Alexa

Hi! My name is Alexa, I am a fun and creative teacher in Boston, and currently in my last year working to get my Master's degree in mental health/school counseling. I currently hold a BA in child development & psychology from BC. I have 9 years of experience in different positions as a special education teacher, paraprofessional, camp director, & nanny so I have worked with a large variety of children and are very comfortable with multiple children and of any age. I am willing to help with homework or tutoring needs. I have experience working with children with disabilities including non-verbal, ASD, learning differences, and mental illness. I have a car and clean driving record and would be willing to do pick ups/drops offs or bring the child to other activities (beach, park, etc.). Open to sharing my information as backup or for occasional evening kid sitting as well! :)
