About Alexa

Nurturing young minds is more than a job for me; it's a genuine passion. For the past year and a half I've had the joy of caring for children between the ages of 8 and 10 at the school I worked at. I am comfortable around all ages as I've spent time nurturing 3 nephews and one who was diagnosed with autism. My graduate coursework in Clinical mental health counseling has given me a strong foundation. I bring a patient, calm, creative, and imaginative approach to childcare. I am comfortable caring for one child at a time, but not opposed to two. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games. I am happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I communicate with parents using their preferred method. Enforcing household rules is something I'm very comfortable with. I would love to bring my enthusiasm and experience to your family!
