Hi! I am a recent graduate from nursing school and will be starting as a nurse in the Medical ICU at Big Barnes-Jewish Hospital beginning of July, but I am looking to provide childcare on my days off as well as before I start! I have been babysitting for 10 years but have become much more active in childcare within the last year. My senior year I babysat multiple times a week for 3 families, 2 of which have foster children. The main one I have provided respite care for was 2 foster sons: 1 newborn and 2-year-old, both developmentally delayed. The other 2 families had boys and girls ranging in age from 3 months to 10 years of age. I am comfortable with providing overnight care and did this for 2 of the families. I am CPR/BLS/AED and first-aid certified through the AHA. I am comfortable with all ages, including the elderly, and am also comfortable providing pet care, cleaning, housekeeping, cooking, tutoring, and driving/transportation.
