About Alexandra

With over five years of experience caring for children in private homes, I bring a calm, patient, and relationship-centered approach to childcare. I've cared for children ages one to 13, including providing consistent care for the same child from ages five to 10. I deeply value building lasting relationships with children and their families. I strive to create an environment where children feel safe, understood, and encouraged to become confident, curious, and independent. I've also worked full-time with youth in the foster system in a therapeutic residential setting, supporting children with trauma histories and complex emotional and behavioral needs. This experience has further strengthened my patience, adaptability, and ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging moments. I hold a college degree and current CPR and First Aid certifications and am happy to assist with meals, transportation, homework, swimming supervision, and light housekeeping.
