About Alexandra

Hello! My name is Alex and I have a passion for children and youth! I received my bachelor's degree in social science with an emphasis in education from APU in 2017. For the last 2 1/2 years I worked full-time in a licensed child development facility as the lead teacher for a TK/Kindergarten enrichment program, as well as an after-school care program. My experience includes developing and executing lesson plans following CA state standards for education, supervising up to 14 children alone, and up to 42 with assistance. I also have experience working with various age groups in a child-development setting. Before working in licensed childcare I worked as a private nanny for a few different families, and I also worked as a camp counselor for a sleep-away camp. I believe that children need to be encouraged, and that there are learning opportunities all around us. I look forward to working with you and your children!
