When we were unsatisfied with the care my grandparents were receiving at an assisted living facility, my mom moved them into her house. My grandmother lost her sight 7 years ago and my grandfather had suffered multiple strokes. I worked as as their caregiver 6 days a week. When I wasn't listening to their stories, I was responsible for helping them bathe, preparing meals (and feeding them once they couldn't feed themselves anymore), doing laundry, styling their hair, cleaning dentures, changing adult diapers, cleaning the kitchen and bathroom, running errands including doctor's appointments, etc. I absolutely understand the sensitivity of finding someone to entrust with the care of your loved one. I hope to help assist in someone's well being as a caregiver.

Alexandria worked in our childcare for years. She was so kind and loving to the children that I actually hired her to help with my elderly parents. She is very creative and possesses the ability to immediately engage children with fun and educational activities. I was saddened when she moved away.
