I've been a professional nanny for 7 years, and am currently looking for weekend babysitting jobs. My most recent care giving position involved working for a family full-time, nannying 3 children (birth- age 7). Here, I assisted in planning activities, meal prep, laundry, home organization and driving children from school and extracurricular activities. My experience caring for children started when I was 14 years old. For 4 years, I worked with developmentally disabled individuals within DE's first special needs cheerleading team. For 15 years, I have babysat children ages 1-14 while working around my school/ work schedule. In addition to gaining extensive knowledge from Child Development courses throughout college at the University of DE, I learned much more about center-based care for children birth- age 4 during my 400 hour internship working within the classrooms of New Directions Early Head Start.
