Hi, I'm Alex, a local musician, pet-lover and private caregiver. My mission is to use my compassion and work ethic to create a holistic sense of peace in your home, providing non-medical support to individuals of any age. I've previously worked in warehousing, logistics and the residential building trades. I've found success by providing clients with meticulous, white-glove service. My journey into caregiving began at a local agency in March of '25. Reading their list of job duties, which placed a strong emphasis on camaraderie and engagement with clients' passions, was what convinced me to take my first steps. I've since found deep joy and meaning in this work and in building lasting bonds of kinship with my clients and their families. For me, commonplace duties aren't just that, small things aren't small. I want to be your dependable ally, an extension of your family's resources; a reliable workhorse when times are toughest, a trusted friend when you need to be heard. Thank you.
Alex became Dad's caregiver after a series of others from a highly-rated list provided by the long-term insurance company. We were already more than frustrated with the lack of patient care we'd already witnessed. Dad had dementia as well as a history of serious injuries from Vietnam. His dementia caused him not to accept non-family members coming into our home. Alex took time to engage with dad and learn about the man dad had been before he had dementia. He engaged with Dad asking questions to sincerely learn about his patient and how he could best provide the care dad needed. He respected his human dignity. He connected with our family as well, always searching for one more piece of the complex puzzle to understand and care for and ultimately provide comfort for someone who was fighting a final battle that would ultimately take him home to a paradise where he now a rest peacefully. I can't tell you how glad we were to have been fortunate enough to have Alex with us for the last 9 or 10 months. He helped us in so many ways. He is more than professional, respectful, insightful and above all caring and comforting to those who need care. Dad enjoyed him and truly accepted him as a friend. If you are providing care for someone you love and cherish, Alex is who you want. Honest, dependable, interested in the person he's caring for and their loved ones. He truly was our blessing, and I hope you will also, have such a person care for your loved one. It is not easy to care for someone you love. You need the peace of mind to know that when you have to be out of the home for some reason, you can be assured that there is a honest, decent person who will be there. Caring doesn't require a degree, it requires respect for human dignity, and a rare and special gift of patience and kindness. Alex is intelligent and talented, he chooses to do what is one of the most difficult jobs caring for those who do not understand that they truly cannot care for themselves anymore. We chose and promised Dad we would keep him with us and safe in his home. Alex helped us keep that promise. To anyone struggling to make this decision. Keep your loved ones safe with you at home, and hire Alex to help you. You will have no regrets when that final moment happens.
