About Alexia

I'm a certified teacher with 9 years of experience working with children, including 3 years working specifically with students with dyslexia. I recently left public education and am currently completing my CALT training in dyslexia therapy. I'm looking for babysitting or nanny work and can also help with homework, reading, and writing. For families who are interested, I can incorporate literacy instruction into our time together, including more specialized reading support. I've been described by families and coworkers as calm, patient, and thoughtful, which I think fits the way I naturally work with kids. I'm comfortable with different ages, personalities, and learning needs.
