About Alexis

Hello! My name is Alexis. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in engineering. I worked in industry for a little less than two years and am looking to make a career change. I have a lot of experience working with children. My mother was a preschool teacher and so I grew up helping her at the preschool every summer since I left it myself at age six. I have been babysitting and doing mother's helper since I was 10 years old. I have cared for children of all ages, but I am especially experienced with the littles (0-2 years). I also have worked at an art summer camp as well as was a preschool teacher myself for a few months! I have a reliable mode of transportation and recently renewed my certification for CPR and First Aid. I am looking to work between 20 and 30 hours a week. I am hoping to find a family or two that I can support !
