About Alexis

Hello my name is Alexis and I'm a caring, attentive, and nurturing caregiver who genuinely loves connecting with kids and helping them grow. As a stepmom to the sweetest 4-year-old boy, I know just how special (and full of energy!) these early years are - and I bring that same warmth and patience to every child I care for. My experience includes: •3 years as a Youth Program Coordinator, supporting after-school kids from 1st grade through middle school for refugee families •Serving as a Community Coordinator for early childhood development, helping childcare programs run smoothly and connecting families with the resources and funding they need •Hands-on, everyday experience raising a young child at home I love creating a good balance between learning and play - giving kids the freedom to be creative and explore, while gently guiding them with structure, manners, and kindness.
