Hi, I'm Alexis! I work full time during the school year as a high school science teacher, but I am looking to pick up some work in pet care over the summer. I have had dogs my whole life and worked in a veterinary hospital for 8 years during and after my undergraduate degree in biology. I started as a receptionist, then became and assistant before training as a technician. I could not contribute enough monetarily to my family staying in the field, so I got certified as a science teacher and have been teaching for 10 years. However, I am extremely knowledgeable about pet health and care, and I am an avid exerciser and outdoor enthusiast who would love to run around walking and playing with dogs all day. I am comfortable with dogs that have behavioral issues with people or with other dogs and I am also comfortable with multiple dogs.
