About Alia

Hello I'm Alia! My first job outside of babysitting was teaching gymnastics to ages 3-13. I have also have worked as an arcade attendant. I am trying to find a some work as I recently decided to take a break from social work. I graduated college a year ago and I worked in the social work field with kiddos that have disabilities for a year. I love to work with children! I graduated with a social work degree and was a minor in psychology. I am overall very experienced with children! I like working with kids because I love watching them grow and seeing the excitement in their eyes when they learn something new. I also love their imaginations and helping them to explore multiple ideas and skills! I started working with kids when I was about 10 or 11 years old. My mom does in-home daycare so I have been helping her with that for many years and I started babysitting at age 13. My skills include coming up with fun activities, teaching various skills, and assessing the needs of children.
