I am a 68-year-old widow, moved to Newnan GA. In 2021, after 30 years in WA. state where I began my caregiving career. I started out working in an Assisted living facility where I obtained my caregiving certifications and training. I have done many hours of home care. (Including 5 years caring for my ill husband. I cared for my mom ((she had dementia and lung cancer))for 3yrs until she passed early last year. ) I love caregiving I want my clients to smile when they see me, as they know I will be doing everything they need to make life a bit easier and enjoyable. I am a good listener and an upbeat person. My experiences; stand by assist for transferring, showering, toileting, in and out of bed, and wheelchair. I have been trained on hoyer lift. I have demetia training. I tended severe wounds on my husbands feet between nurse or dr visits. I prefer not to transport to Dr visits or run errands.
