About Alicia

Caring for little ones has always been a passion of mine. Throughout my adolescence, I had numerous babysitting jobs, with children ranging from infants to school-aged. I carried my interest in caring for young children into college. In 2013, I graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, specializing in birth-5, as well as K-3. For over 10 years, I have worked in the field of early childhood education in various roles, including toddler teacher, preschool teacher, nanny, and babysitter. I have a natural ability to connect with children and form solid bonds. As a caregiver and educator, I believe children learn best through play and hands-on experiences. I strive to embed learning experiences into the regular events and activities taking place throughout the day. I am organized, possess strong time management skills, and a keen attention to detail.
