About Alicia

Hi! I'm Alicia, a dependable and engaging caregiver with 10 years of childcare experience, from toddlers through early teens. I began working with children through the Cheshire-Southington YMCA as a summer camp counselor and in after-school programs before transitioning into private childcare for local families. I love keeping kids active and engaged through crafts, reading, outdoor play, learning activities, library trips and outings. I'm comfortable with daily routines, meals, diapers, potty training, school preparation, transportation and homework help. I also love mother's helper/family assistant roles and being an extra set of hands for busy families. I'm happy to help with laundry, dishes, tidying, organizing, grocery shopping, errands, returns and household resets. I have reliable transportation, love pets (I have a Goldendoodle!), and can provide a reference from my mist recent family! I'd love to find a family where I can become a dependable part of their routine!
