Hello, my name is Alisha, born and raised in Chicago! I have always had a nurturing and caring nature about me. I was always good with the children in my family growing up. I joined the childcare field three years ago! I'm an assistant teacher at contemporary preschool and I babysit for families! I find so much joy and purposefulness in working with children and helping them build that strong foundation! The foundation that will structure the rest of their lives. Joy in watching them explore, have fun, make memories, and grow. I am very creative so I love doing art projects and science experiments! I am also a very active, I'm always doing a lot of movement with the kids! I have experience working with all age groups from infants to 10 years old. I am CPR certified, SIDS certified, shaking baby syndrome aware and certified! I am Covid vaccinated. I have all my vaccinations up-to-date. I am first aid certified. I also have various of trainings in childcare as a teacher! :)

Alisha was my co-worker at the gardener school and I will say The passion she had for her kids in the classroom was amazing! She actually invested her time in ever kid and I thought it was amazing. We all know it’s not easy being a teacher but for her I feel like they were her babies like she treated them as if they were her own and I thought that was beautiful!so to summarize everything up she very real and passionate about what she does and she would definitely be a great fit!
