Hello, my name is Alishia! I am a childcare professional, let me tell you a bit about myself. I have been working with children for as long as I can remember, but professionally for over 10 years. I have experience working with kids ranging from 3 months all the way up to high school age. I have the most experience with infants and toddlers (3 months to 2-years-old) with a close second of preschool age (3 and 4 years olds). I have a food handlers card, CPR training, and first aid training up to date. I have specified training for infants in toddlers and how to help them in their development! Most importantly, I love children! I love to teach, as I've been a early childhood educator for a while now, but I also love helping each child grow into their own potential. Alishia is extremely conscientious, intentional and caring about her work and those she works with. She is a team player who brings to the table creative and helpful ideas. I experienced her being a clear and proactive communicator when concerns arose and she was able to trouble-shoot situations with positive results. She has a deep love for children and displays wisdom, love but also firm boundaries with behavior She was excellent at redirecting children towards more positive attitudes! I would highly recommend Alishia to care for children of all ages. It was a delight to work with her! We were very sorry to see her go but gave her our blessing. She left us on very good terms!!!
