About Alison

I'm a New England native and recently relocated to Fort Collins from Pittsburgh, where I lived for the past decade. I graduated with my MFA from Chatham University in 2015 and after worked in literary publishing for 5 years. Most recently, I taught for 4 years at Pittsburgh's Creative and Performing Arts High School. I enjoy reading, writing, and playing sports and music. I've worked as a nanny/babysitter for 11 years, and have experience with 1-8 kids, from newborns to 18 years. In Pittsburgh, I worked full-time for a family with 3 children (ages 2, 7, 10) and helped manage online learning and household tasks, as well as did a week-long round the clock care when parents were on vacation.
