About Alissa

Hi there! I am 25 years old. I received my BS in Speech and Hearing Science. I am attending Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions for my MS degree in Medical Speech Pathology. I am knowledgeable in areas such as speech, language, memory, swallowing, feeding, AAC, fluency, and voice. I'd love to apply my knowledge while providing care for your loved ones. I have my own car with a clean driving record and am able to drive if needed. I am COVID-19 vaccinated and boosted. I am familiar with most of the Salt Lake Valley. I am CPR and first aid certified. I have completed a background check for my graduate program and am happy and willing to provide documentation of this. I have experience as a CNA and a medicine technician. I can handle assistance in all activities of daily life including showering and assistance in the restroom. I have experience with properly lifting persons, oxygen tanks, colostomy bags, and catheters.
