About Alixandra

I'm a 20-year-old female currently in school, earning my Associate's degree. I've been a passionate animal lover since my earliest memories, and have been around animals as my companions and colleges since I was 3 years old (owning fish). Since then, I have owned hamsters, mice, gerbils, a leopard gecko, and currently own a dog (cockapoo) and one adolescent bearded dragon. I have pet-sat my neighbor's dogs in the past, cared for a family friend's dog while they were away several times, cared for horses on and off each summer, and have volunteered in a veterinarian clinic for nearly four years, dealing with both observational and hands-on learning and caring for all different breeds of cats and dogs alongside the vet tech., main veterinarian, and the veterinary assistants. I am always looking to learn more about and bond with humans and animals, alike, and I always seem to form a close bond with the animals I come in contact with which I hold dear to my heart and treasure always. I am a very compassionate, caring, patient individual, and I feel as if every new experience brings knowledge and makes oneself a better, more enlightened person.
