My name is Aliyah and I am originally from the Caribbean, a small island called St. Maarten/ St. Martin. I came to the United States at the age of 17 to pursue my dreams in the education/ medical field, a few years after that my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia. My mom moved her up here to better care for her and ever since then I have been helping to care for her, and that also made me start looking into adult care/ nursing. I would love to help others the same way as I do for my grandmother, everyone's grand parents deserves to be in great hands at all times, for this is one of the most important stages of life.
